Michael Tucker hit 2 doubles and had 2 RBI at the ballpark where the
indomitable Caracas Leones beat the Dublin Pubcrawlers by the score of 8 to
5.
Caracas went ahead for good in the bottom of the 7th inning with 2 runs on 5
hits. After an out was recorded, Tucker got things rolling when he stroked a
single. Gary Sheffield came next and he blasted a two-run home run (his 27th
of the season). Caracas had 13 hits for the afternoon while Dublin had 10.
Steve Reed(5-4) got the win allowing no runs in 3 and 1/3 innings. Reed got
relief help from Keith Foulke who gained credit for his 27th save. Bartolo
Colon(10-16) was the losing pitcher. He allowed 3 homeruns in 6 and 1/3
innings of work.
